Personal History Class

Hey guys,

I'm taking a personal history class for my English minor and one of the requirements is to write for at least 8 minutes a day 5 days a week on a blog. So, I've got no choice now but to write here! I was going to write on Saturday about my first week back at school, and I think that I'm still going to do that. I don't want to write about it now because the week isn't over yet. So, I don't really know what I'm going to write about. BYU's first football game is tonight, don't ask me why it's on a Thursday, I don't know. Its against WSU, so no matter what the Cougars win! Still, I'm sure we'll win anyway, I mean it's WSU.

My new apartment is pretty nice. It's a little larger than Wyview in terms of raw square footage, but since we have double the people here there's less room, if that makes sense. My room roommate's name is Kim and she's a senior from San Diego. My other roommates are Julie and Amy, who are sisters, and Kelly and Stacey, who are good friends. They're all older than I am, but not by too much. Our ward is a little on the older side too, there are a lot of girls who are RMs.

One of the things I really like about this apartment though is that it's above ground and the parking lot is at ground level. So even though I'm on the first floor its at the height of a second floor. It means that the apartment gets a lot of natural light.

While I was waiting for my class to start today I was talking to a lady in my class and she was not only friends with one of my professors, (the one who reminds me of a mix between Stephen Colbert and Doc Brown, who I really like by the way), but also Austin's mission president. I know that people generally say that it's small world, but when it comes to members of the church, there's no doubt about it. I'm pretty sure that whoever said "all roads lead to Rome" had just never been to Utah. That reminds me, I went to  a ward social Monday night at my bishop's house and ran into Julia Farmer! She wasn't in my ward, she was just visiting with a friend, but still, I don't think I've seen her since I was about 12.

Well, I'm pretty sure that its been at least 8 minutes, so until tomorrow, goodbye and keep classy!

P.S. Ok, I just had to say, when I realized that goodbye originated from the phrase God be with you, it became a way cooler.
