I just realized that most of you reading this aren't familiar with the bombardment in Mormon culture to get married. While of course no one would ever force you or anything people here are always pushing you to be social and go out on dates and stop being single and a menace to society. People here are getting engaged or married all the time and while it's much better now than it was over the summer, people talk about getting married and forming relationships all the time.
Because of this and the fact that people like to lovingly make fun of themselves, there are always a lot of jokes about couples knowing each other for two weeks and then getting married (although I did hear about one time when that actually did happen). Karoline today mentioned a song from Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella which reminded me of another song from the play that describes I think what it feels like here sometimes.
Here regular world, is a little taste of what romance is like in Utah
In other totally unrelated news, today in ju jitsu we learned how to break our falls by rolling like ninjas.
