Am I the only weird person out there who occasionally looks for and reads anti-something you support/believe in statements and articles even though I find them absolutely agravating?
Not at all. Sometimes I do it because I want to understand where the other side is coming from. Most of the time, I read them because I find them funny.
The main reason I read stuff like that is that I already know what my side has to say. You can only read stuff you agree with so much before it starts being repetitive.
Every time I try to read opposing sides of political stuff I always get too frustrated. I don't like getting myself flustered needlessly, so I avoid reading things like people claiming vaccinations will cause your kids to become mentally retarded and yadda yadda yadda.
